Date: August 29–30, 2025
Amid the vibrant celebrations of Ganeshotsav, the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research (SICSR) participated in a Heritage Walk and the Global Ganesha Festival organized by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) on 29th and 30th August 2025. The initiative brought together 18 international students for an immersive cultural experience in Pune.
From exploring historic landmarks to engaging in eco-conscious Ganesha celebrations, students experienced India’s traditions firsthand, sparking discussions on sustainability, heritage preservation, and cultural unity. Rodwan Adam, a BBA(IT) student at SICSR, represented the institute in the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam cultural showcase, reflecting the spirit of “The World is One Family” alongside students from across SIU.
The program reinforced that learning extends beyond classrooms into culture and community. The initiative was supported by Ms. Mamta Guram, Staff Coordinator, Internationalisation Cell, and guided by Dr. Madhu Arora, with the continued encouragement of Prof. Dr. Jatinderkumar R. Saini, Director, SICSR.
